Your Bill:

Included on your monthly utility bill are the above services (Garbage, Water, Sewer, and Storm Drain).  Those fees are due the 15th of each month.  You, or your landlord, or your landlord’s agent will receive a notice if you become delinquent.  You are given 10 days in order to pay the bill or make arrangements with the water clerk to pay the bill.  If the town shuts the water off for delinquency, the entire bill and a reconnect fee of $30.00 must be paid before the water service will be restored.  In addition, any account that has a balance of $9.99 or more by the 25th of the month is subject to a $10.00 late fee.

Pet Licensing

If you have a dog or cat, you must license them yearly with the Town.  These licenses must be redone each year in January.  There will be a $2.50 late fee that will accrue each month after January, plus you will be subject to fines if you fail to renew.  We need proof of neuter or spay if that applies and proof of current rabies vaccination.  The Town of Columbus has an AT-Large Law for all animals.  Animals must be under your control either by voice control or leash at all times.
