Use of the Public Parks for any special events require a Use Permit

which can be obtained at the City Hall office

Use Permit must be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to event to

assure review time by City Council and Department Heads

Heritage Park – Center of Town

Horseshoe pits, Tennis Courts, Basketball Court, Public Restrooms, Swimming Pool

Swimming Pool General Information (located in Heritage Park) :

2018 Swim Lesson Schedule: Session 1: June 11-22; Session 2: July 9-20; Session 3: July 30-August 10

All lessons are Monday through Friday

Levels 6A & 6B: 9:00-9:30 am; Levels 4 & 5: 9:30-10:00 am; Level 3: 10:00-10:30 am; Level 2: 10:30-11:00 am; Levels 1 & Preschool: 11:00-11:30 am.

Pool Schedule 2018:

Saturday: 10:30-11:30am Water Aerobics/11:30- 12:30 Parent & Child Swim lessons

Saturday & Sunday: Open Swim 1:00-5:00pm

Monday -Friday: Adult Swim 12:00-1:00pm M/W/F: Open Swim: 1:00-8:00pm

Tues/Thurs Open Swim: 1:00-6:00pm/ Water Aerobics: 6:00-7:00pm/Family Swim 7:00-8:00pm

***Weekend evening pool rentals are available for parties!! Permits are available at City Hall or City Pool Cost: $75.00

Rail Road Park -(located along Pike Ave)

Sherwood Park – (located on N 11th Street)

Itch-Kep-Pe Park

Sites available on a first come first serve basis, NO reservations are available

Camping for tents as well as camper trailers

Sites are equipped with fire rings

A 10 day stay limit is enforced

River access

Boat ramp located at south east end of camp ground

Restrooms are on site (seasonal availability)

Donations are greatly appreciated and donation pipes are available at two different sites in the campground
